Time to Fix The Bridge! ***Quest SPOILER!!!***

Howdy guys! Sorry for not updating in the past couple of days. I've been really busy working on a surprise video on my channel for you guys :D! Anyways, yesterday, the quest to start fixing the broken bridge in Nilmer's Highland was released! I'm super excited!

WARNING - "SPOILER ALERT!"

On the first day, we had to gather some wood from the Abandoned Farm to make some new planks for the bridge. After that, we had to assemble Donald's old machines. Then, we had to cut the boards with the saw, grate them, and put them in a special solution to  "pressure treat" them. This gave us four boards total.

Next, we had to get some nails to secure them in place. We were sent out to collect the nails that fell out of Build Master Donald's truck. Unfortunately, they were all bent! Okay, so now we need some new nails. It turns out that Conrad, the Blacksmith, is just perfect for the job!

After riding out to Conrad and showing him the nails, we need to gather some Jorvik Iron from the Demascus Mine. This will make the nails as strong as ever!

After we come back with the iron, Conrad tells us that in order for the nails to be a strong as ever, the fire in his forge needs to burn hotter than ever. For this, we need some ash from the Garnok volcano. Conrad keeps the ash in a special "unmarked" box. You will find the box next to the tall fence.

Once Conrad puts the ash into the fire, he says that he'll need more wood. We have to ride up to the ledge behind his house 3 times to gather 3 logs. (Since my horse was carrying a heavy load, she could only trot.)

Yay! After putting the logs into the forge the nails are done. We ride back to Build Master Donald for him to inspect the nails.

It turns out that the nails are perfect, so now we can hammer them into the bridge. (I personally love the little "hammering" animation my character does when she's putting the nails in :D)

Just in Time...

Howdy guys! Guess why I'm super excited? My computer's disks have just finished defragmenting, and that means I can play Star Stable today!!!!!! :D I'm so happy! After being without SSO for 4 days, you can imagine how I feel. XD I'm really happy. Anyways, the quests to start fixing the bridge start tomorrow. SSO mentioned that the quests take a week to complete, so if we do them everyday, we'll be able to get in on opening day. I think SSO put a lot of work into making this for us, (as you can see by the pictures on their FB page.) so we should be grateful for it.

As you may have noticed, I recently put up a post about some of the new additions added to the side of Jorvik that we know. Well, I was looking through my notes and realized that I forgot to mention one thing. SSO has also added a bunch of sacks of cement scattered about Nilmer's Highland. Could these be used to fix the bridge? Let me know in the comments below!

Question: "My horse doesn't level up!"

I received a question from Dakota Sweetvalley. The question is:

- Hey! I've recently been training my horse; and when I click the person to complete the quest, my horse's XP bar isn't going up! Is this just a glitch for me or does this happen to everyone?

Very strange. Did you do several races? Is it still not going up after that? If the yellow XP bar won't move forward try checking your horse's info sheet. It should say the numeral value of the XP. If that doesn't go up after the completing the race I suggest you contact customer support. If the game is really laggy or glitchy, sometimes it moves up after a delay of a couple minutes. Just keep checking the numeral value of the XP every once in a while. Hope this helped Dakota! ;)

Almost Done!

Woot woot! My computer's scan is almost done! 8 more hours! Currently it is at  64%. Deep scans take FOREVER!! Anyways, It should be ready today. I wonder how sad my horses are... Anyways, So far, the top name chosen by you guys for my bay Andalusian stallion is Sunflower ;) I LOVE that name! Send me your favorite horse names and I'll include them in my "SSO Horse Names" list. ;) Thanks for reading, bye ;)

Question: "When do I begin my Soul Rider training?"

Howdy y'all! I just recently received a question from "Anonymous." (She didn't want to be mentioned) She asked:

- "When do I begin my Soul Rider training? I've seen a lot of youtube videos on it, but I'm still confused about exactly what level I start at.

Thank you for your question! I get asked this a lot. First of all, (like I said in my "When can I access GHV?" post) SSO is always adding new story quests into the story line. They aren't always tacked onto the end, but are sometimes mixed up into the middle. So, it might take longer for you than others. I started Soul Rider training when I just got to level 12. When I was about level 10, the story quests leading up to becoming a Soul Rider started. These are basically just leading you on, but keep in mind you're going to have to stay the night at a few places if you want this stage to go by fast. I hope this helped! Thanks for your question!

Question: "What are some tips to win championships?"

Howdy!!! How are you guys enjoying your Sunday? Today I have a question submitted by Jasmine Summerflower.

- "What are some tips to win championships?"

The answer is simple. But first, I'd suggest to see my page titled "Racing Tips." My two favorite tips are:
1. Practice, practice, practice!!! The people that usually win the championships participate every day. They take the time to learn the course and look for shortcuts. Almost every race has a shortcut. The experienced riders usually keep quiet about these, so you must figure them out yourself! ;)

2. Wear racing gear. I've seen so many people complain about not winning when their riding bareback in a cute outfit. There's nothing wrong with wearing nice, matching things, but they rarely have good stats. Some people even race on ponies, which are considerably slower than the normal horses. If you need some help about what racing gear is best, check out my "Best Racing Gear" page. It shows what I think is the best gear for the horse & rider.

Hope this helped Jasmine, thanks for your question!

Contact Us!

Howdy! As many people may see, I answer a lot of your questions about the game here. If you would like your question to be featured I the blog, jut shoot me a quick e-mail or comment. The address is valedalegirls@gmail.com. I answer all of your questions individually, so that means I make a separate blog post for each question. I will mention your SSO name (or if you prefer your real name, let me know ;) in the post and take my time to answer your question thoroughly. (If you have a youtube channel I will mention that as well ;) I might even go and answer some other things related to your question. Bye for now!

New Andalusians!! ;)

Howdy everyone! As you all may know, the new Andalusians have just recently been released. But the big question on everyone's mind is: "Are they as big as the Friesians?" I'm going to give you the simple answer to that, which indeed is yes. The prices for them are as follows: White - 990 SC, Dapple Gray - 890 SC, Bay - 690 SC. They're all so pretty! Currently, I'm saving up for the bay. Only two more weeks to go and I'll have enough! Anyways, I'm still trying to think of a name for him. The top names on my list are Sunflower, Daydreamer, and Stargazer. Let me know which name you think is best! You can contact me via e-mail (valedalegirls@gmail.com) or by commenting. You can also message me in game. Thanks for taking the time to read this, bye!!!! ;)

Good News!

Great news everyone! The last scan to fix my computer is running now! It should be fixed in time for the new update! Too bad I have to wait 22 more hours for the scan to finish :( But anyways, I'm really happy now! I can't wait for South Jorvik to come out! Let me know what you think about the release of South Jorvik in the comments below ;)

When Can I Access Goldenhills Valley?

Howdy guys! ;) For today's update, I'm going to answer a question which you guys are always asking me: "When can I access GHV?" Well, there never is a definite answer. The SSO team is always adding new story quests; they aren't always tacked to the end of the story line, but are sometimes mixed up into the middle. Most people say that you gain access somewhere around level 12, but for me, I got in about halfway through level 13. When you get in depends on what new content SSO has added and where in the story line they put it. I hope this helps, bye!

What is Star Stable?

I've noticed that a lot of people from foreign countries have been visiting my blog; as well as people who have absolutely no clue about what Star Stable is. That is why I went onto starstable.com and found this explanation of what exactly the game is:

Star Stable is a spectacular online horse game built specially for those with a passion for horses and games. It is not only a girls game or just a game for girls but can be enjoyed by everyone.
It is a so called "MMORPG" which means "Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game", and can most easily be described as an enormous role playing horse game for large numbers of players to enjoy together online. This means that hundreds, if not thousands, of players can play, chat and help each other through the challenges and horse adventures Star Stable has to offer.
The virtual horse game begins with creating your own character and designing your own horse. You will have the choice of many different appearances for both your character and your horse. The character and horse you choose will be partners and will ride together through the huge 3D world of Star Stable. You will meet many other players on your horse adventures and can help each other through the interesting mysteries hiding in Jorvik!
I hope this was a good enough explanation! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I really appreciate it!

Sad News...

I'M SO SAD! NOOOOOOO! Guess what everyone? My computer has been down for the past couple of days, and I'm not quite sure it will be up and running in time for the new update! Please help......

South Jorvik Sneak Peeks!

Heyyyyyyy ;) I went onto Star Stable's Facebook page and found these snazzy new pre-release photos of South Jorvik! They are so cool! Here you go!

News About South Jorvik!

Hello everyone! Are you guys enjoying your weekend? I know I am! I've been buzzing about South Jorvik ever since SSO announced it! Speaking of South Jorvik, today I went out on a hack with Wildfire and noticed a couple of new additions to the game. One thing that really caught my attention was the addition of log piles in places like Moorland, Firgrove, and Marley's Farm. (There might be more.) Could these logs end up becoming planks to fix the broken bridge?

Also, as I was exploring, I came across a couple of places near Southsilver Waters where you can see some of the new things added to the other side. So far, all I've seen are a couple of really big rocks, fences, trees, and bushes.

I can't wait until October 16th, when supposedly the building quests to help repair the bridge are released! Thanks for tuning in, bye! ;)

Interview Concerning the Release of Harvest Counties!

Interview Concerning the Release of Harvest Counties!

2013-10-11

In anticipation of the upcoming release of the Harvest Counties we have an interview with Marcus Thorell, the Pixel Tales Game Director who is responsible for Star Stable Online, to answer a few questions about the exciting new area!

Hello Marcus! Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today! We have heard the exciting news that a new area will be opening at the end of October?

- Through the summer and fall the whole team has been working hard to complete the new area on the island in the South-West corner of Jorvik. The new area is called The Harvest Counties and one of the new exciting places you will be able to visit will be the long awaited Jorvik Stables. It is very exciting for the whole team to be able to finally share the Harvest Counties with the players and we hope everyone really likes it!

New area: The Harvest Counties

New area: The Harvest Counties

How big is the new area and what can players expect to find there?

- This is the biggest single addition we have ever made to Star Stable since the game launched and there was an amazing number of things that had to be put in place so that the new area would work well and be a great new game experience! It is very important to us that the players enjoy the new content and we really want to live up to everyone’s expectations. The players will get to enjoy a fantastically beautiful new countryside landscape with rustic buildings and get to meet a bunch of exciting new characters. It has been possible (since the last weekly update) to be able to see how big the new area is on the world map.

The Harvest Counties is filled with new fantastic content. There are a lot of new characters to get to know, lots of brand new buildings to visit, new landscape to explore, and of course the historic city of Jarlaheim. The Harvest Counties even has new custom composed music never heard before in Star Stable. Right from the beginning the players will have access to new exciting quests, a challenging race, lots of new stores, and much more!

Wow! That sounds pretty exciting! Is the main story going to continue here?

- The story is definitely going to continue here when the players become more familiar with the area and get to know the new characters. Exactly how the story will continue, I don’t want to give away here. But I think some of the players who have played through all of the existing quests in the main storyline might have some pretty good guesses about what might happen next…

Which players are going to have access to the Harvest Counties?

- Unlike when we released Golden Hills Valley (where you needed to be level 12 to enter the area) this time we have decided that all Star Riders who are at least Level 4 are going to be able to get in. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy the beautiful new area right away!

We probably could have guessed there might be quests to do before the players can enter the new area. Can we hint that the broken bridge over the river by Nilmer’s Highland might be involved in that?

- That would be right! We are going to release a group of exciting quests where the players will get to help in repairing the bridge that for now is the only way to get to the Harvest Counties. Everyone is going to want to explore the Harvest Counties on release day so we are going to start the “repair the bridge” quests the week before. If you complete the repair assignments every day during the week you will be able to go straight into the Harvest Counties on opening day. Good luck!

What can we look forward to in the coming year?

- We are looking forward to a very exciting year as Star Stable is going to continue to be developed with new features, more quests, and beautiful horses. The main story is going to continue and the players are going to note that Linda, Alex, Lisa and Anne are going to have more prominent roles. We don’t want to say too much right now, but something big is going to happen!

Thank you for the interview Marcus!
